Why sauna bathing?
Through the change of the heat and cooling stimuli the sauna offers physical and mental relaxation, increased efficiency and well-being, cleaning as well as detoxification of the body. The blood circulation, the heart and many other bodily functions will improve significantly.
Effect:
In the dry heat (between 60 and 95 degrees) of the sauna the temperature of the skin increases about 10 degrees, the temperature of the body about one and two degrees. The change between the heat and cooling stimulates the circulation and metabolism and cleans the skin as well as body tissues. The blood is thickened through the sweat. To compensate this, water and with it metabolic breakdown products, heavy metals and contagious matters are beeing transferred from the tissue into the blood. They are bounded there and excretet through the sweat glands and kidneys.
