With a counter-current system you are literally swimming against the current. Water and air are swirled into a jet in the system and flow against your swimming direction.
The strength of water and air can be regulated separately with two knobs. With the movable nozzle, you can influence the direction of the jet. So everything is possible from leisurely paddling to sporty crawling.
