Our TOPRAS pool experts will be happy to explain all the details about the different types of pool. One of the main differences is the height of the water level. In a skimmer pool, the water level is lower than the pool head compared to the overflow pool. Depending on the type of skimmer, the level is thus approx. 7-10 cm below the highest point of the pool wall.
Water and dirt are sucked off the water surface by the pool skimmer. A screen basket in the pool skimmer coarsely filters out leaves, insects and other impurities. At TOPRAS, we pay attention to the main wind direction when planning and installing the skimmer. This is because the wind supports the removal of surface particles to the skimmer.
With an overflow pool, on the other hand, you can reach the highest water level - the overflowing water and reflection waves are drained off via an overflow channel. This creates an attractive effect and the feeling of infinite space - for maximum swimming comfort.

We have compiled tips for you on how to care for your stainless steel pool: Stainless steel is a very robust material; with the right care, its appearance will remain unchanged and beautiful for a very long time.
If minor corrosions do occur in rare cases, you can remove them with a very fine abrasive paper (Scotch Brite or a household sponge), always in the direction in which the material is ground.
